And now let’s dive into Lesson Seven: Do I Need to Protect Myself When Channeling?
There is everything you wish there to be, everything you wish to experience.
Put more clearly – there is everything you bring into your consciousness, into your thoughts. You may think of things you do not want to experience; or you may read, watch, or talk about it happening to others.
Imagine your mind and your thoughts as magnets – you draw, you create, what you focus on. We have spoken before of the foundational fact that you are a creator. In this instance we are not saying this to frighten you, but to remind you of how very powerful you are.
Think of a child in the darkness of their bedroom, imagining monsters. When you come to comfort them, to assure them of their safety, to dispel these flimsy imaginings of monsters any way that you can so that they may shed their fear and sleep peacefully, feeling and knowing the safety of their room – that is how your question comes to us.
We are longing to show you your safety, to assure you that there are no monsters. There is only what is in your mind.
From our perspective we see your infinite safety. We know how loved you are. We know there is only Love. But whether you are five years old in a dark bedroom alone, or an adult longing to channel, you can believe that there are monsters, that there are dark energies. And we would again have to remind you there is what you ‘see.’ There is what you believe there to be.
But if you are asking us for Truth, which, of course, you are, we are promising you that you came from Love, you are Love, and that Love is all there Is.
To see it is only a remembering of this.
Once seen, just like the child’s imagined monster under the bed, all darkness disappears.
We assure you, we promise you, there is only Light, there is only Love.
And we assure you, we promise you, until you see this fully, until you know this to be True, we are with you in your perceived darkness; you are never alone, you are always held, always Loved.

When the Dear Heart Love Soul letters began to flow into my life I felt no fear, or misgivings. I have only felt an all-encompassing, deep Love when receiving them. While they arrive, I am in a place so delicious and warm that I love returning to it again and again.
Although this might be the right moment to confess that if anyone ever pointed to a house and said, “That place is haunted.” I would be the first to run towards it.
But maybe, that is because I have never believed, or felt, dark energy, or ‘evil’ from the spirit world.
I have felt a warning in my body, an internal alarm, while around certain real-life people though. And I have always heeded that alarm and steered myself physically away from them.
Now, obviously, everyone’s life experiences are different. Everyone’s upbringing and beliefs are different. Which is why I think this lesson is so important.
I appreciate the reminders that although we are all co-existing together on Earth, it is equally true that we are each living in our own world. And that my experience is not yours, and vice versa.
And so, if you are someone who does fear exploring certain aspects of your spiritual journey because you do not want to encounter dark or evil energies, I hear you, I see you, and I honour that.
But I also deeply hope this Dear Heart letter consoles you like a child in the night. That it reassures you and gives you, at least, a small amount of comfort and feeling of safety.
I have only ever felt a deep and complete Love while channeling. And this is what I wish for you to feel, to experience, and to claim in your own life.
My whole reason for sharing the Dear Heart letters, and now this course, is to assure you that you have your own connection with Love, with Source. Your own constant and unbreakable connection with that which created you. I truly want you to know that, to believe that, and to feel that. I want you to be able, at any moment to claim that, to experience it and lean into it. To know, to trust, and to access the wisdom and Love that is truly yours.
May this lesson help you to do that.

Love this! I’ve never felt dark energy either. But I’ve definitely felt the dark intentions of the ego.
Lori, I love your and your Team's perspective. Ultimately, I agree that in the non-dual realms there is only One...and the Void Itself is filled with Love. On the other hand my experiences are so very different from yours. It's hard to know how t talk about it in a way that honors all truths, you know? Like, yes we create our reality but we are also in a co-created reality. I didn't dream up dark energy, but I agreed to participate in some dreams that have it in it. My daughter when she was a toddler perceived "monsters that weren't imaginary but also not physical." We treated her with a homeopathic remedy and they went away. My son deals with distorted energies on a regular basis and it is a challenge for him because he is so high vibe but also permeable. Every major spiritual tradition has a place in it that recognizes that while such energies are not real in ultimately reality, they do have their dimensional existences. Yeshe Tsogyal, Jesus, Buddha, Padmasambava, Indigenous Traditions. I feel that to give these things excess reality is unhealthy but I would give your guides some push back on the idea that we individually create them if we experience them. Each of us has our agreements as to what we experience or what is within the gamut of what we experience on this plane and on others, and I believe on the sovereignty of the oversoul. I think you are very lucky you have never encountered dark energies and I hope you never do!
