And now let’s dive into Lesson Five: Are You Channeling Without Knowing It?

There are so, so many ways that Divinity, that Source energy, can flow through you, that wants to flow through you.  There are so many ways to be a channel for that energy. 

There are the usual ways that you think of when you hear the word, ‘channel’ or ‘channeler,’ like automatic writing, or verbal channeling.  But there is also channeling: music, art, all types of writings, healing, inventions, technological advancements, and scientific discoveries. 

It is endless: for every problem, question, dilemma, curiosity, or feeling of reaching the end of a situation, relationship or task – there is always the option of turning it over to Source and asking for a solution. 

Asking to be shown in a way that feels right to you for an answer, solution or path forward. 

This is indeed the foundational relationship, currently, between an embodied, physically manifested person like your self, and Us.  We wait eagerly for this asking.  We delight when our response is heard. 

The Universe shines a bit brighter each time this happens.  So, ask. 

Trust that your voice, your silent asking, will be heard.  Trust you are being listened to and responded to.  And when the answer seems peculiar to you, trust that we are not beside you, but are further down the road, already clearing obstacles, already anticipating what you call the future. 

The only disconnect between our logic, and yours, is that ours has a broader scope. 

We love you.  We love you. 

Trust, not only Us, but your self to correctly interpret our answer. 

Trust that you ‘know’ more than you often believe that you do. 

Trust that you are worthy of not only an answer, but of a miracle. 

Let’s make the Universe shine a bit brighter – together.

I find “Lesson Five: Are You Already Channeling?” to be very freeing. 

In it we see the narrow definition of being a channel, or of channeling, thrown wide open to include all the arts, sciences, mathematics, technology, medicine and more.  This lesson is urging us to stop being limited by a word, in this case the word, ‘channeling,’ and to go beyond it to include inspiration, invention and breakthroughs. 

And really what is the difference? 

I think we have all experienced the gift of suddenly getting a great idea from seemingly out of nowhere. We have all heard about the extraordinary leaps made by great inventors, or the serendipitous chain of events that lead to a scientific breakthrough. 

This lesson is urging us to view what we currently call channeling, as nothing more than the skillful use of inspiration.

It is promising that ‘channeling’ is not something reserved for the special few, in a very narrowly defined way.  But is something that is available to all, and that can not only be learned, but once mastered, can be directed to whatever we want, or need help with at the moment. 

How would having that ability change your life?

I don’t know about you, but it is definitely a superpower I am keen to hone and master. 

This lesson also circles back to emphasize ideas that we have read about in earlier lessons.  The first being the idea of asking, which was the focus of Lesson Four (read it here).  Asking is so important that in this current lesson is says: “The Universe shines a bit brighter each time this happens” (meaning each time we ask something of Source).

If that isn’t the ultimate permission slip to ask Spirit for help, I don’t know what is. 

And in this lesson there is also the reminder to trust yourself, which Lesson Three focused on (read it here).

My favourite line from this week’s lesson is: Trust that you are worthy of not only an answer, but of a miracle. 

This lesson is certainly urging us to expand our thinking.  Not only are we being assured that we are worthy (which so many of us need to be reminded of ) but it goes on to tell us that we are worthy of miracles!

I truly hope that you are, at whatever pace feels right to you, trying to forge a closer relationship with Source so that you may be a channel in whatever way feels good and right to you.

I hope that you are exploring ways which resonate with you to listen and receive answers.

I hope you know that channeling, in whatever way you choose to define it, is not only available to you, but is your birthright. 

I hope you feel brave and worthy enough to begin asking.

I hope you are letting in the possibility that the answers you receive can be trusted. 

And most of all, I hope you believe that you are worthy of miracles.

Because you are. You truly are.
