Free is how you arrived and free is how you will depart. So why not claim your freedom all the days between?
You do not need to hide away. You do not need to protect your self.
All walls can become prisons. And you were not born to be a prisoner of anyone or anything.
Where are you bound? Where are you binding your self?
Untie these leashes, even if they are only ideas. Untie them. Let them fall to the floor. Step free.
Today is a day of freedom.
Is this an idea that fills you like a sail fills with wind? Or does it cause you to hover, like a mouse trying to decide if it is safe to leave its hole?
Freedom is truly yours, but if you are bound, you may need to go slowly. This is fine. But claim for your self all that is yours – and free is how you arrived and free is how you will depart.
So why not claim your freedom all the days between?
For it is yours. Freedom is yours.
Find the strings that are keeping you tethered and slowly, deliberately, begin the exhilarating process of freeing your self.
There is no greater gift to give your self.
Begin today. Begin now. Say: I am free.
Begin today to spread your wings.
This Dear Heart letter asks where we might be blocking ourself from what we most want, from what may make us feel the most free. It ask where we are hiding, where we are shrinking ourselves. It asks where we are ignoring our dreams and desires. This one hits quite close to home for me, particularly here, in this space. I am bit by bit, allowing this gift of being a channel to come more into the open. I am beginning to feel nudged to share it in new ways. To step more fully into this gift and create a life and business around it that will benefit myself and others. But even within the exhilaration of that I feel myself shrinking, of asking all the standard: “Who am I to do this?” questions. But this letter also reminds us that we can untie our own leashes. We can leave our self-built prisons and step into the sunshine. To feel the exhilaration of freedom. Can there be anything more free than feeling completely and utterly your own full self? I am definitely feeling the pull of that. And I am leaning into saying, “YES.” But it is scary. Funny how the idea of something we want so deeply can cause so much fear. But the infinite kindness and wisdom behind these Dear Heart letters tells us it is okay to go slowly. We do not need to run towards freedom, we are allowed to tiptoe, to go at our own sweet pace. I suppose that is what I am doing. And I am proud of myself. If you, too, are embarking on an adventure to your free-est, truest, dearest self, know that I am cheering you on every step of the way - no matter how slow and hesitant those steps might be ~

Sometimes we just need to take that step and know that our wings will take over, it can take time to build that trust and that's ok.
Freedom one fairy step at a time 🧚✨👏
