Lately, for me, the world has been feeling like a lot. Even here, on this remote, mystical, Canadian island. How are you? Feeling tired? Feeling anxious? Got your eye trained on the horizon of the future, and your ear a little too attuned to the news? Or, maybe you don’t know why your energy feels depleted, your vibe a bit rattled? All you know is that there is definitely something in the air. Well, pull up a chair. You are not alone. I asked the wisdom behind the Dear Heart Love Soul letters to give me some perspective. To help me regain my emotional balance - and this is what came through. It helped me - and I hope it helps you.
The wheel is turning once again. Spring is coming and no storm can hold it back.
In springtime, after the first flowers have started to bloom, there is often one, last, great winter storm.
Snow descends once more, temperatures plummet, and wind shakes the trees with new buds already forming.
It is only a storm. The signs of something greater are already here. The wheel is turning once again. Spring is coming and no storm can hold it back.
It is good to know the difference between a season and a storm.
You find yourself, currently, in a storm. A cold blast of something already fading, its strength weakening. Its time nearly over.
It is true that there is nothing quite as ferocious as a beast aware of its own dying.
You find yourself in such a time. The great wheel is turning. A new era is coming.
Its green grass, its fresh buds, its early blooms already recognized by those who welcome the change, and by those who do not.
And that is the reason for the ferociousness. Remember: it is only the roar of the dying.
Spring is indeed coming. And spring cannot be stopped.
The wheel is turning. There is nothing to do but turn with it.
Ignore the storm. It cannot last. Focus on all that is coming. Prepare your self, prepare your house for spring.
Be ready to throw open your doors and windows to its warmth, its sunlight, its promise, its growth.
Look beyond the storm; there is no substance to its roar.
Spring is pushing through.
Spring is coming.
Today marks the start of a new feature, here on Dear Heart Love Soul. It is an invitation to go deeper, if you wish. Grab your favourite notebook and spend some time journaling.
Imagine standing outside in the last great storm of winter. The wind howls, the snow falls—but you know spring is coming. How does this mirror something in your own journey?
If the “storm” in your life could speak, what would it say? Now, let “spring” respond. Explore this dialogue and see what wisdom emerges.
Write a letter to yourself from the perspective of spring. What encouragement does it offer? What does it ask you to release? How does it invite you to prepare for what’s ahead?
Thank you for sharing this beautiful piece of wisdom! What a divine reminder that even the fiercest storms are just winter's final encore. Love how this transforms our collective anxiety into a cosmic weather report - because honestly, who hasn't felt like they're starring in "Storm: The Musical" lately? But spring, that eternal diva, is already warming up backstage. Grateful for messages like these that light up our souls with their raw beauty and truth. Here's to riding the wheel of change with grace 🩷
This was something I desperately needed.
I feel as though I'm in a difficult season, and it's been rough. It's more like a storm, and this shall pass soon.
Thank you.
